Customer Concern TORN CLOTHES, BUTTONS RIPPED OFF, TWISTED DRAWSTRINGS. Clothes ripping during the drying cycle in the Unitized washer-dryer may be the result of an uneven gap between the dryer inner door and front panel. This may occur on units produced prior to January 2012 (AZ serial number).
REPAIR/RESOLUTION The resolution for this issue is to replace the dryer door WE10M151. Current dryer door stock has been replaced with a new modified door which corrects the gap and prevents the issue from occurring. This issue is not caused by the trap duct grid (opening to the lint filter).
