CARE AND MAINTENANCE IMPORTANT: Clean your humidifier regularly (every 2 weeks or more often as needed) helps eliminate odors and may prevent bacteria growth. Depending on mineral content of the water and frequency of use, the wick filter will become loaded with mineral deposits, eventually reducing efficiency. When the filter appears clogged, replace it with a new wick filter to restore your humidifier's efficiency. Caution: Disconnect the power cord before cleaning the unit. 1. Turn OFF and unplug the humidifier. 2. Remove the Upper Housing and carefully remove the wick filter from the base. 3. Clean wick filter, please refer to Wick Filter Cleaning Instructions below. 4. Pour all water from the tank. 5. Wipe all surfaces of the Water Tank with a clean cloth or sponge moistened with water or a solution of half water and half vinegar. DO NOT USE SOAP OR DETERGENTS AND NEVER USE ABRASIVE CLEANERS. 6. Rinse the Water Tank thoroughly with clean water. 7. DO NOT USE WATER TO CLEAN THE UPPER HOUSING, AN ELECTRIC SHOCK MAY RESULT OR THE HUMIDIFIER MAY BE DAMAGED. Inspect the air inlet (base) and outlet grills (top). Clean the grill vents with a soft, dry cloth if they show accumulated dust. 8. Re-install the wick filter into the unit base and replace the upper housing onto the base. Take care to properly align the upper housing to the base for proper fit. Wick filter usage/cleaning instructions: 1. Flip the wick filter every day to extend usage. 2. Once a week, the Wick Filter should be cleaned as follows: a. Clean by fully submerging it in a vinegar/water solution using 8oz of vinegar mixed with 2 gallon of water, for 15-20 minutes. b.Remove filter from the vinegar/water solution and reposition it in the unit. 3. Normal operation of the unit can be resumed immediately following cleaning and installation. 4. Prior to storage, the unit should be operated for approximately 2 hours WITHOUT water in the tank to fully dry the Wick Filter. All the components must be completely dry before storage.

Cuando el filtro parezca atorado, reemplácelo con un filtro de mecha nuevo para restaurar la eficiencia de su humectador. Cuidado: Desconecte el cordón eléctrico antes de limpiar la unidad. 1. Apague y desenchufe el humectador. 2. Quite la Cubierta Superior y saque cuidadosamente el filtro de la mecha de la base. 3. Limpie el filtro de mecha, refiérase por favor a las instrucciones de Limpieza del Filtro de la Mecha abajo. 4. Vierta toda el agua del tanque. 5. Limpie todas las superficies del Tanque de Agua con un paño o una esponja limpia humedecida con agua o una solución de mitad agua y mitad vinagre. NO UTILICE JABÓN NI DETERGENTES Y NUNCA UTILICE LIMPIADORES ABRASIVOS. 6. Enjuague el Tanque de Agua a fondo con agua limpia. 7. NO UTILICE AGUA PARA LIMPIAR LA CUBIERTA SUPERIOR, PUEDE PRODUCIRSE UNA DESCARGA ELÉCTRICA O PUEDE DAÑARSE EL HUMECTADOR . Examine la entrada de aire (base) y las rejillas de salida (superiores). Limpie los respiraderos de rejilla con un paño suave, seco si mostraran polvo acumulado. 8. Reinstale el filtro de mecha en la base de la unidad y reponga la cubierta superior sobre la base. Tenga cuidado en alinear correctamente la cubierta superior con la base para lograr un ajuste apropiado. Instrucciones de uso/limpieza del filtro de mecha: 1. Voltee el filtro de mecha cada día para que dure más. 2. Una vez por semana, debe limpiarse el Filtro de Mecha como sigue: a. Límpielo completamente sumergiéndolo en una solución de vinagre/agua usando 8oz de de vinagre mezclado con 2 galones de agua, por 15-20 minutos. b. Quite el filtro de la solución de vinagre/agua y colóquelo de nuevo en la unidad. 3. La operación normal de la unidad se puede reasumir inmediatament
