The camera can be used to make short films, take photographs (snapshots) or as a Web Camera during vid eo co n ferencin g w ith S kyp eV id eo ™ . Important : High Resolution images and video require USB 2.0 compliant port to assure bandwidth allocation. Please refer to your computer vendor manual to ensure that you have a USB 2.0 port. Motion Z o om ™ , 4x Digital Zoom and the 1280x1024 dpi resolution will only work properly when connected to a USB 2.0 port. Read the following instructions carefully before use. - The Web Camera does not require any special maintenance. Use a slightly damp, soft cloth to clean the camera. - Do not use aggressive cleaning fluids or substances, to clean the device. These may be harmful to the product. - Make sure that the cable is free of restrictions and heavy objects placed on it (such as a monitor). Do not use this device in an area where the cable can become worn or damaged as a result of people walking over it. - Never repair the camera yourself as this will void your warranty. 1. ::: 1.0 Driver Installation: 1.1 Install new driver for the Web Camera from the CD provided. 1.2 Driver Installation for Windows 2000 and Windows XP Note: The latest drivers for the Web Camera can be downloaded from www.instoresolutions.com. It is recommended you check whether a new driver is available before installing the CD version. Otherwise you can update at a later stage. Note: Make sure all other programs are closed during the installation. Note: During installation in Windows XP, you may receive a message saying that the driver has not been signed. This does not cause a problem for the functionality. Note: In the exam p le, „D :\‟ is u sed to in dicate th e C D -ROM drive. This may be different for your computer. Note: For some versions of Windows, you may be requested to insert your Windows CD-ROM into your CDROM drive. Make sure the AMT web camera is NOT plugged in before installation. Insert the CD-R O M in to yo u r com p u ter‟s C D -ROM drive. The installation program will start automatically.
